Open Graph meta tags control how your page appears when shared on social media. Without them, platforms will guess a title, description, and image — often poorly.
The essential tags are og:title, og:description, og:image, and og:url. Twitter uses its own twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description, and twitter:image tags but falls back to OG tags when Twitter-specific ones are missing.
Recommended image size is 1200x630 pixels. Keep titles under 60 characters and descriptions under 160 characters for best results.
